NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING FOR TOWN OF WOLF RIVER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wolf River Town Hall, 8800 County Road II, Fremont, a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2018 BUDGET of the Town of Wolf River in Winnebago County will be held. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the Town Hall and online and the town website. The summary of the proposed budget is sent for posting at the Fremont Post Office.

 

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF WOLF RIVER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, November 27, 2017, immediately following the conclusion of the Budget Hearing, a SPECIAL TOWN MEETING of the electors called pursuant to Section 60.12(1)(b) of Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes will be held:

 

To set the 2017 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2018 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of Wis. Statutes for 2017

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN ELECTORS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, August 28, 2017, immediately following the conclusion of the Public Hearing to remove parcels from Winnebago County zoning and add to Town of Wolf River zoning, described above, a SPECIAL TOWN MEETING  of the electors will be held, called pursuant to Sections 60.12 (1)(c) and 60.10(2)(g) of the Wisconsin Statutes, by the Town Board, for the following purposes: To authorize the Town Board to sell or donate a small portion of land to Hope United Church of Christ for the purpose of installing a parking lot. The land is part of the Wolf River Cemetery, located at 8950 Alpine Road, Fremont, Wisconsin, found entirely in Section 8, T20N, R14E, Town of Wolf River, Winnebago County, WI. The approximate dimensions are as follows: 103.18 feet by 108.25 feet by 63 feet by 108.25 feet.

Public input is welcome and all residents are encouraged to attend. All interested persons wishing to be heard at the Special Meeting of the Town Electors are invited to be present. This issue will be considered by and acted upon, by the Town Board, at the regular Meeting of the Town Board, to be held following the SPECIAL TOWN MEETING of the electors, on Monday, August 28, 2017, at 7:00 p.m.

STATE OF WISCONSIN

Notice is hereby given that on Monday, August 14, at 6:30 p.m., there will be a Public Hearing at the Town of Wolf River, 8800 County Road II, Fremont, WI to hear any questions or concerns on the Proposed All-Terrain Vehicle Route Ordinance that the Board will be considering at the monthly August 28th meeting starting at 7:00. This proposed ordinance is to establish an all-terrain vehicle route on certain Town roads in the Town of Wolf River and to provide safe and enjoyable all-terrain vehicle recreation consistent with public safety, public rights, interests, and economic opportunities.

Public input is welcome and all residents are encouraged to attend.
