South Road Bridge presentation November 28

Proposed transportation improvement

The Town of Wolf River, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, is proposing to replace the existing bridge carrying South Road over the Rat River in the Town of Wolf River, Winnebago County. The project is located on South Road at the crossing of the Rat River, approximately 0.6 miles west of CTH MM. In addition to the bridge replacement, the project will include a minor amount of roadway approach work and new guardrail at all four quadrants of the new bridge. No right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to construct the project. South Road will be closed to through traffic during construction. The project is currently scheduled for construction in 2018.

Interested persons are encouraged to attend the public information presentation at the Town of Wolf River’s regularly scheduled November Town Board meeting on November 28, 2016 at 7:00 pm. The Town Hall is located at 8800 County Road II, Fremont, WI 54940. The facility is wheelchair accessible.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wolf River Town Hall, 8800 County Road II, Fremont, a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2017 BUDGET of the Town of Wolf River in Winnebago County will be held. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the Town Hall and the Fremont Library, or by appointment at the Town Chairman’s; phone 920-836-3038. Farmland Preservation Meeting

Please be aware that the Winnebago County Planning and Zoning Department will be conducting a regional meeting in order to discuss the new County Farmland Preservation Plan.  Several of our Town Board members and Plan Commission members will attend this meeting.  Although these meetings are intended for Town Boards and Plan Commissions, the public are more than welcome to attend (we will be conducting more regional meetings in the future intended for the public and property owners).

 

The meeting will take place on September 22nd – 7:00 PM at the Town of Clayton Town Hall – 8348 County Rd T, Larsen, WI

 

Members of the Wolf River town board and members of other public bodies

may attend this meeting to gather information and participate in discussion.

No official Wolf River Town Board action will be taken by these bodies.
