The Town of Wolf River Board is in the process of taking bids for a new garbage/recycle contract for 2024 and beyond. Any new contract will likely have a significant increase over the current contract. More information will be provided when available.

Public Hearing
The Board of the Town of Wolf River will hold a Public Hearing at the Town Hall, located at 8800 County Road II, Fremont, Wisconsin, on Monday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. to consider the following:
Amend the Town of Wolf River All-Terrain Vehicle Route Ordinance, Sections 1-5(b) to include repeal and replace language in language regarding use of lights. This section shall now read as follows:
No ATV/UTV may be operated on any designated route without fully functional headlights and tail-lights. Lights shall be used at all times during operation. (Currently reads “Lights shall be used during the hours of darkness and when conditions require it.”).
Proposed change to Section 1-5(d) regarding operation hours from the current language:
No ATV/UTV may be operated on any designated route between the hours of 10:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. daily. (Proposed change to 24 hours, 7 days a week)
A copy of all changes is available for review at the town’s website, the town hall, and the Fremont Post office.
All interested persons wishing to be heard at the Public Hearing are invited to be present.
